Here's my vision for Midwestachon: over the course of a Friday, Saturday,
and Sunday, we will eat, drink, talk, laugh, cook, go online, and listen to
music. There's no need to attend for all three days, and day-trippers are
welcome. I have internet, so you will remain connected to the outside world.
Since Columbus is Ohio's capital city and is the largest city in the state, I'm
sure there will be out-of-the-house things to do. Most important of all,
attendees should have a fun, relaxed time.

There are plenty of hotels close by where you can stay, since I am just a few
miles from the Ohio State campus. Also, there's plenty of room in my house,
so you're welcome to crash here. It's a great neighborhood for walking and
there's a giant park right across the street.

Significant-others and children are welcome, but just let us know whom to
expect so we can plan accordingly. Also, just a reminder: I have two large
dogs, so prepare to laugh as drinks go flying with a friendly wag!

Hotel Options
If you would prefer not to crash at the Bat House...
A simple search in google reveals two $40/night hotels about 2 miles away.
There's nothing much closer, as you can see from this link (I am at Whetstone
Park, in the center of the map) (I've never stayed at these places, so this is
not an endorsement.)
